The Logic of Less: Why we cut the fabric.

Engineered to cover and carry the essentials. Nothing more.

We don’t chase trends. We chase efficiency. When you are moving from the summit to the sea, excess fabric isn't just heavy—it’s a liability. We engineered the Stride 5 and Wake 1.5 to remove drag, friction, and bounce. It’s not about showing off. It’s about getting out of your own way.

The Case for the 5" Tight

The Cargo Paradox. For years, runners faced a choice: wear a 5" split short and have zero storage, or wear a half-tight to carry your phone but be stuck with a restrictive 9" "biker" length. We fixed it. The Stride 5 is the first piece of equipment to offer the freedom of a short inseam with the cargo capacity of a hydration vest.

The Ultra & Trekking Advantage. For the ultramarathoner or fast-packer, friction is the enemy. Loose shorts bunch up and chafe after mile 10. The Stride 5 eliminates skin-on-skin contact and fabric swish, solving the chafing problem at the source.

Suspension Storage. When you load pockets in loose shorts, your gear swings like a pendulum against your leg. Our compression fit acts as a suspension system, anchoring your phone and fuel to your center of gravity. No bounce. No slapping. Just silent carry.

The Case for the 1.5" Brief

Physics, Not Fashion. Boardshorts are effectively parachutes. They trap water, create drag, and stay heavy long after you leave the water. The Wake 1.5 is engineered for hydrodynamic efficiency. By removing the leg, we remove the resistance. You feel the water, not the fabric.

Amphibious Layering. Because it dries fast and lays flat, the Wake 1.5 is the ultimate amphibious base layer. Wear it under your running shorts for the hike in, strip down for the swim, and layer back up for the return trip. It eliminates the "soggy underwear" problem of traditional swim trunks.

The "Balloon" Effect. Loose trunks trap air when you dive and water when you exit. A precision-fit brief eliminates the awkward air pockets and the heavy water drag, streamlining your transition from land to water.
